Poutwater pond
This is a really nice trail to go on. The trail has the most beautiful treelined large pond at the end of it with many pitcher plants. In the beginning of the trail it has sort of marshlands so i suggest that you where rain boots. The trail is a one mile moderate walk to the pond. On this walk I suggest you pay attention to where you are going since there are no markers. The trail terrain is fairly easy other than a few rocks and sticks getting in your way. Before you get to the pond there are several grates over the boggy sections leading you to the perimeter of the pond.
wild life
pitcher plants- The pitcher plant is similar to the venus fly trap. It uses a honey like gland in a fairly long tube. When a bug flies by it is attracted to go inside of the plant then the bug gets trapped inside the plant.
Frogs- Frogs are all over north america and on the beginning of this trail. The frogs will jump out away from you as you walk along this path.
